This is a double channel aluminium anti slip square stair nosing suitable for stairs and steps with a wider tread(usually over 300mm),especially if they are subjected to heavy foot traffic.Originally developed for mass transit stairways usually found in railway stations,supermarkets,hotels,hospitals and other commercial establishment,the walking surface consists of an anti-slip PVC insert bonded to a heavy duty extruded aluminum base. and comes pre-drilled,with pips to hide the screw heads.This double channel heavy duty square stair nosing is fitted as butt joint to the floorcovering,which is usually heavy duty carpet or carpet tiles or heavy duty smooth flooring,and and should achieve a flush finish with it to avoid tripping hazard.For safety underfoot, and long term durability the double channel heavy duty square stair edging should always be installed directly to the stair substrate,although depending on the thickness of floor covering,it may be necessary to incorporate a packer.PLEASE NOTE THIS PROFILE IS CLASSIFIED AS 'SPECIAL ORDER' UNDER OUR RETURNS POLICY.
