This is a stainless steel (304) tactile stud with stem that provides a tangible and tactile floor warning surface to guide blind and visually impaired persons in moderate to high traffic areas. The stainless steel tactile studs are embedded into sidewalks, pedestrian crossings, train platforms and other public spaces to provide detectable underfoot guidance. Stainless steel tactile studs with stem are a premium tactile paving surface designed to be installed into any surface by drilling, inserting plugs and glue to ensure a secure fix.
